The Anchorage School District has cancelled some of the school bus routes to Girdwood, due to whiteout driving conditions are reported along Turnagain Arm.
ASD Spokewoman Heidi Embley says, the following Girdwood routes are canceled for Thursday morning:
* Route 621 South High School
* Route 622 Girdwood K-8 School
* Route 623 Girdwood K-8 School
Portions of the following routes are also canceled for Thursday morning:
* Route 27 Goldenview Middle School (stops along Turnagain Arm are canceled)
* Route 610 Ocean View Elementary School (stops along Turnagain Arm are canceled)
Specific bus route information may be checked by calling ASD Transportation Dispatch at 742-1200.
All ASD schools are operating a regular schedule today.
