ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Alaska Aces fell to the Las Vegas Wranglers 2-1 in a shootout Saturday evening.
Alaska was first on the board when Wes Goldie found the back of the net at 10:24 in the first.
After a scoreless second period, former Seawolf Sean Wiles put Las Vegas on the board with the equalizer. The Aces were unable to answer, sending the game into overtime.
Las Vegas' Barry Goers gave the Wranglers the advantage in the shootout, and Alaska was unable to come back.
The two teams are at it again in the final game of the series Sunday, February 26, at the Sullivan Arena.
