Troopers Identify Man Found Dead in McGrath

MCGRATH, Alaska — Alaska State Troopers have identified the man found dead inside a McGrath home on Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators were sent to McGrath to investigate the death of 48-year-old Harold E. Howard.

In an AST dispatch on Thursday morning, troopers say “criminal conduct is suspected to be a factor,” and the investigation remains in progress.
