The Anchorage Police Department has turned to the public for information on the whereabouts of a man suspected of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Police alleged 52-year-old David Bristow of five counts of distribution of child pornography and three counts of possession and say Bristow may have left the state.
APD cyber crimes detectives began its investigation last September after receiving tips on Bristow.
The Alaska Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant on his South Anchorage home and seized computers and digital media.
The task force found hundreds of images and videos depicting sexual abuse of children after forensic examinations from the seized devices.
APD said investigators believe Bristow left state sometime after the task force served the search warrant.
Police ask anyone with information on David Bristow’s whereabouts should call APD at 786-8900 or CrimeStoppers at 561-STOP.
