ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The large-scale (synoptic) pattern in Alaska has changed very little. Weak easterly waves continue to lift over the SE Panhandle into Southcentral. Ridging over north-central Alaska and the Bering Sea also remains.
As a result, mostly cloudy skies and scattered to isolated showers will continue over the Panhandle. Layered clouds will thin out as they move further west and offer another day of filtered sunshine to Southcentral and the Interior.
Nearly all of the state will be dry today.
Highs will range from the single digits along the Arctic Slope to the 50s for SE and parts of Southcentral.
