Alaska Freedom Sisters Honored Saturday

ANCHORAGE, Ak — The Ford Motor Company recognized 20 women as Alaska's Freedom Sisters this weekend.

They were honored Saturday night at the Captain Cook Hotel for their dedication to social causes and humanitarian effort in the Anchorage community.

The local event is the 7th recognition event across the country held in honor of women and their service in their respective communities.

The 20 Alaska Freedom Sisters are:
