ANCHORAGE, Alaska — UAA Track and Field's Kelsea Johnson broke the Alaska Anchorage heptathlon record with 4,940 points, placing her in second at the 2012 GNAC Multi-Event Outdoor Championships.
Her heptathlon score is the 8th best in Division II records this season, and 7th best in GNAC history.
Johnson also broke the UAA record in the women's long jump with a winning jump of 18-6 ½.
The senior will be back in action on May 5, for the Occidental Invitational in Eagle Rock, California.
