NBC Shows: Anchorage Programming for Community and 30 Rock

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A programming note for NBC prime time viewers in Anchorage: "Community and "30 Rock" will air on Saturday, May 5th from 6 to 7 p.m.

The shows were preempted by KTUU’s Thursday hour-long special “The 49th Report: Mission Critical.”

The special presentation was devoted to two important issues affecting the military in Alaska. The first issue addressed the Air Force’s plan to move 18-fighter jets from Eielson AFB in Fairbanks to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage. The second issue dealt with the troops in Afghanistan, where ten percent of the forces deployed are based in Alaska.
