SOLDOTNA, Alaska — On Wednesday afternoon, a Soldotna man was killed a motorcycle crash with a compact SUV at Mile 91.2 of the Sterling highway, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers said the crash happened at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday when Mickie Warwick, 56 of Anchorage, turned left into a driveway in the SUV on the highway and Jaramiah Hundley, 23, crashed into the passenger side of the SUV.
Hundley was transported to the Central Peninsula Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Text: On 5/30/12, at approximately 1555 hours, Soldotna State Troopers
came across a motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and compact
SUV towing a travel trailer at Mile 91.2 of the Sterling Highway.
State Troopers initiated life-saving measures until CES arrived. The
driver of the motorcycle, Jaramiah Hundley, 23 of Soldotna, was
transported to CPH and pronounced deceased. Mickie Warwick, age 56, of
Anchorage, was the driver and sole occupant of the SUV. The next of kin
and State Medical Examiner were notified. Investigation revealed the
Ford was northbound on the Sterling Highway and began turning left into
a driveway in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle was southbound on
the Sterling Highway and impacted the passenger side of the Ford Escape.
