East Anchorage Rollover Crash Seriously Injures 1

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An East Anchorage rollover crash Sunday afternoon seriously injured one person, according to Anchorage police.

APD spokesperson Anita Shell says a single vehicle was headed west on DeBarr Road when it flipped and crashed near DeBarr’s intersection with Pine Street, on the west side of Russian Jack Springs Park.

Officers and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after 2 p.m. One person was taken to a local hospital.

Police closed the westbound lanes of DeBarr during their investigation of the crash. A single westbound lane of DeBarr was subsequently reopened at about 3 p.m.
