A large fire heavily damaged a condo complex in Homer late Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report from the "Homer News", the fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. in The Landings Condos.
All of the residents in the 17-unit complex escaped without injury. Smoke from the fire could been seen from throughout the area.
One of the upstairs units where the fire apparently started was heavily damaged by the flames. Other units may have damaged as well, but firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
