ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Four Anchorage residents have been arrested after allegedly bailing a man out of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility then kidnapping him, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Troopers were told shortly before 10 p.m. about a fight in progress at a Tesoro gas station at Mile 49 of the Parks Highway. Four people -- 31-year-old Jonathan Walls, 26-year-old Katrina Walls, 24-year-old Jeffrey Ahvan and 20-year-old Amone Mavaega -- were taken into custody.

According to troopers, the four bailed out 22-year-old Anchorage man Jonathan Hill from MSPT, then kidnapped him. Jonathan Walls wanted to find marijuana Hill had allegedly taken from him.

“While the group was stopped at the Tesoro Hill attempted to escape and a fight broke out,” troopers wrote. “Hill was released following the incident. No marijuana was recovered.”

All four people taken into custody were charged with kidnapping, while Jonathan Walls and Ahvan were also charged with fourth-degree assault.
