JBER Airman Found Dead On Base

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A 22-year-old airman was found dead on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson on Saturday, August 11 near Six Mile Lake, according to military officials.

JBER said members of the 673d Security Forces Squadron found Senior Airman Brandon Cox.
 
His death remains under investigation.

Cox was an explosive ordinance disposal technician.
