Pfc. Victor M. Fontanilla, 23, was killed by a roadside bomb in Iskandariya, Iraq. Fontanilla, a native of Stockton, Calif., served with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson, Alaska.

Sgt. Brian D. Ardron, 32, was killed on May 21, 2007, when several roadside bombs exploded near his vehicle in Baghdad, Iraq.                                              Ardron, a native of Acworth, Ga., served as a combat engineer with Alpha Company, 425th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.

Pfc. Jaron D. Holliday, 21, was killed on Aug. 4, 2007, when a roadside bomb exploded by his vehicle near Hawr Rajab, Iraq. Holliday, a native of Tulsa, Okla., was a cavalry scout with the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.

Spc. Adam Herold was killed on June 10, 2007, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his position at a checkpoint in Karbala, Iraq.                                   Herold, a native of Omaha, Neb., served with the Army and was based at Fort Richardson.

Spc. Matthew T. Bolar, 24, was killed in Baghdad, Iraq, when a bomb exploded near his vehicle. Bolar, a native of Montgomery, Ala., served with the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.

Sgt. Ryan J. Baum, 27, was killed when his unit faced enemy small-arms fire in Karmah, Iraq.                               Baum, a native of Aurora, Colo., served with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.

Sgt. Adam P. Kennedy, 25, was killed by a roadside bomb detonation April 8, 2007, in Diwaniyah, Iraq.                                                         Kennedy, a native of Norfolk, Mass., was assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, based at Fort Richardson.

Cpl. Clifford A. Spohn, 21, was killed April 9, 2007, when his unit was hit by indirect enemy fire in Karmah, Iraq.                                      Spohn, an Albuqurque, N.M., native, was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.

Sgt. Shawn G. Adams, 21, died on July 22, 2007, from wounds suffered from a roadside bomb in Owaset, Iraq. Adams, a native of Dixon, Calif., served with the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.
