The Federal Elections Commission wants to take a closer look at some of the money for former Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee. Roll Call reports the FEC sent a letter to SarahPAC asking for several clarifications, including the amount of cash it’s received and its cash on hand. It's also asking SarahPAC to send additional information about various expenditures. The November letter marks the sixth request for additional information the FEC has issued to the Palin campaign since it organized in January 2009.

Gov. Sean Parnell is making some changes as he enters his next four years in office. He easily won Tuesday’s race with a 21-point lead over Democratic challenger Ethan Berkowitz. The voters’ decision is also an opportunity for Parnell to shape his own Cabinet of commissioners and directors, most of whom he inherited from former Gov. Sarah Palin. “Like every governor before me, I am requesting resignations from commissioners, deputy commissioners, and directors,” Parnell said.

Joe Miller made a push for Alaskan voters at a Dena’ina Center rally Thursday night that featured speeches from national political figures, as well as a big headliner: former Gov. Sarah Palin. Probably the biggest cheers during the 90-minute rally came when Palin took the stage and spoke just before Miller. Palin says Alaskans have not been getting the true story about Miller, and she highlighted his military experience. Neither Miller nor Palin used the names of Miller’s opponents, write-in candidate Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Democrat Scott McAdams.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin is speaking out about this year's election. In Sacramento, Calif. Friday, Palin said the country needs to elect business-minded candidates who will not sell out their principles for the sake of bipartisanship. She spoke to a crowd of about 2,000 people at a forum hosted by the Sacramento Metro Chamber. Palin said the midterm elections are about the "little guy, the common man" who has been forgotten or ignored by the Obama administration. She also predicted a wave of change at the state and federal levels after angry voters fight back on Nov. 2.

Republican U.S. Senate nominee Joe Miller was the attorney for a group of citizens from the Fairbanks-North Pole area who filed a lawsuit to stop the state Legislature’s investigation of the Troopergate incident involving former Gov. Sarah Palin, according to the Alaska Dispatch website. It was one of two lawsuits filed to block the legislative probe; the other case involved a group of Republican lawmakers. Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s campaign says Miller’s involvement in Troopergate means that Palin’s endorsement of his Senate run is a form of political payback -- but Miller supporters say he was simply a lawyer doing his job. In the supercharged political atmosphere of summer 2008, Palin was tapped as Arizona Sen. John McCain's running mate during his presidential run – promptly plunging her under intense scrutiny on the national stage.

It was supposed to be an outdoor picnic, but winds forced the first Sean Parnell-Joe Miller political rally to move inside to the Menard Sports Complex. About 200 people turned out for the rally, and Miller campaign supporters say it marks an important turning point. “I wish Sarah Palin had shown up. It would have been perfect for me,” said Miller supporter Lloyd Arms. Palin may not have attended, but her campaign machine was very much in attendance at the rally.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin was a featured speaker at the Republican Party's Ronald Reagan Dinner in Iowa Friday night. Her appearance is leaving pundits talking about whether she has plans to run in 2012. Palin's presence in Iowa, fresh from her influence in primaries across the nation, is rekindling speculations about her aspirations for the White House. “It's time for no more business as usual. It is time to take back our country,” Palin said. Palin was Sen. John McCain's vice presidential running mate in 2008, and in her first visit to Iowa this year, she joked about whether she wants top billing in 2012.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin made a brief appearance in her hometown of Wasilla Saturday, speaking at a 9/11 remembrance rally held by the Conservative Patriots Group. “It's just really, really good to be home,” Palin said. “Tonight I'll probably see some of you at Glenn Beck in Anchorage, cheering.” A Tea Party favorite, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller, was also there. In a letter to the editor published in the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, organizers advertised the rally as non-partisan, and said Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Scott McAdams was invited, but Adams reportedly had a scheduling conflict.

Tickets are selling fast for TV personality Glenn Beck's controversial appearance in Downtown Anchorage Saturday -- on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. Organizers are expecting between 4,000 and 4,200 people in attendance at the Dena'ina Center. Former Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to introduce Beck to the nearly sell-out crowd. The man behind the event, Northern Stage Company owner Christopher Cox, says convincing Beck to visit Alaska took six months of work.
