With ECHL goaltender of the year Gerald Coleman on an AHL promotion, Adam Courchaine will be carrying the load in net for the Aces. Seems he's up to the task. Courchaine stopped all 29 shots for his second shutout of the season, and the Aces defeated the Stockton Thunder, 3-0 on Thursday to remain unbeaten in their last 11 games. Courchaine has lost only once in 14 starts this season. Jordan Kremyr, Nick Mazzolini, and Steve Ward all scored for the Aces, who started the game with only 14 healthy skaters, two short of the ECHL maximum. That was before captain Brian Swanson left the ice early on with an injury.
